The Coaches provide participating small businesses with advice on a multitude of topics, will help them accomplish tasks that fall within their scope of knowledge.

All Subject Matter Experts/Companies are selected based on their pre-identified areas of expertise, and on the consensus that they will provide their services at no cost (pro-bono).

Empower Broward is part of a larger effort called Prosperity Broward, aimed at bringing economic prosperity to individuals and companies in the six (6) most economically challenged zip codes in Broward County, leading small businesses to financial well-being and self-sufficiency.
Furthermore, Empower Broward supports actions, programs, and initiatives that result in measurable outcomes for small business participants to enhance the control and confidence they have over their finances. To rise to the level of a financial well-being initiative, Empower Broward focuses on efforts that help individuals develop ongoing, sustainable skills, rather than providing temporary support.
