We believe that access to opportunity and economic mobility are a fundamental right for all of us. At Empower Broward, we will strive to connect you with seasoned professionals who can help you and your businesses overcome challenges and barriers that will help you succeed.
In order to be eligible to participate in the Empower Broward program, your business must meet the following criteria:
- Be located or operate primarily in one of the following zip codes: 33311, 33069, 33319, 33313, 33309, 33323.
- Not be operating at a loss.
- Must employ at least three (3) individuals.
- Must have the capacity for expansion and the creation of new jobs.
- Must be willing to have a “Coach” audit their business.
- Must not be under bankruptcy proceedings or litigation.
- Must be willing to sign a Confidentiality Agreement with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance in order to have access to their business’ information.
- Must agree that they (the client) may accept or reject any recommendations given by the business coach or subject matter experts, but is ultimately responsible for the success or failure of their company.
- Must be willing to participate and give testimonial and other PR material to the Alliance after the successful completion of the program.
